A few showers in the form of snow started last night along the Belgian border but it is especially today that we will monitor the situation. A depression is indeed deepening to the west of the Breton coast. The associated disturbance begins to enter the region.
This snow degradation will circulate south of Hauts-de-France. We expect snow showers in the south of the Somme and Aisne, rain and mixed snow in the rest of Picardy. Only the Nord and Pas-de-Calais seem spared. A few centimeters (1 to 3 cms) of snow are possible in southern Picardy. Soil bleaching is therefore possible.
Next night, watch out for the risk of refreezing in damp places. Tomorrow, dry weather returns but the atmosphere remains cold. Temperatures do not change: 1 to 5 degrees.
On Saturday, a much milder but also much more humid air mass approaches the region…Consequence : temperatures rise noticeably. They will be gentle, in a disturbed atmosphere…
Sunday, same type of weather, with probably less rain.
This Thursday, the conditions are ripe for a further washout of the atmosphere… The air quality will therefore remain average today.
Don't forget that you can now monitor the air quality near you, hour by hour, thanks to the Atmo application, Air to go.
