A remarkable site in the Côte-d’Or: Val Suzon
In the valleys of Côte-d'Or, in Burgundy-Franche-Comté, the Suzon flows from its source between Panges and Trouhaut. In its course, it crosses right through the Val Suzon Regional Nature Reserve (RNR), an environment with a unique natural heritage extending over more than 3,000 hectares.
The Val Suzon national forest brings together all the assets for the Forêt d’Exception label®.
It is located in the heart of the Val Suzon Regional Nature Reserve and at the gates of the urban community of Dijon.
It covers an area of 2100 ha. Val Suzon constitutes a unique and preserved space with very diverse natural and cultural heritage.
It is also a place of relaxation and breathing for the general public.
The Jouvence site, the Sainte-Foy and Saint-Fol lookout points are hiking goals.
