Sting's son is being patient before making his debut in the AEW ring or elsewhere.
Last May, we learned that Sting's son had decided to start training to become a professional wrestler. This is Steven Borden who was hooked on wrestling after helping his father in his last match at AEW Revolution 2024.
There has been no further news on the subject in recent months, but his coach Darby Allin provided an update on the subject in an interview for ''Down Under The Ring''. Indeed, Darby Allin stated that Steven Borden wants to take his time before making his debut and make sure he is ready to avoid negative criticism :
''Steven, his son, trains a lot. It all depends, it's very difficult to follow Sting's legacy you know. Time is of the essence in this case, you don't want to rush anyone, because if you rush someone, people will say, “Oh, that was a favor for Sting.” “Once Steven steps foot in the ring for the first time, we all want to say, “Okay, he worked for this, he deserves this.” »''
Obviously the Steven Border project as a wrestler is still relevant. Now we just have to wait.
Update on the future of Steven Borden.
