Accomplice of our loves for 20 years

HOLIDAYS. There are several ways to express emotion to a loved one. Particularly during the holidays, a good old Christmas card warms the heart. However, by creating greeting cards for 20 years now, it is precisely these moments of joy that Denise Drouin from Vallée-Jonction hopes to multiply.

“Twenty years… I can’t believe it. I try to convey a little of my happiness in my photos. Each card has its history, its precise moment in time. They are all precious to me. People find themselves in my cards, both men and women. I get talked about it a lot. I feel like it does people good. It nourishes me,” she said.

Without criticizing classic cards, Ms. Drouin nevertheless wishes to offer photos that are even stronger than what the major printers offer. “My images speak for themselves. The image serves as an impetus for what we want to convey. This is the image that says it all. […] People often throw away their cards after opening, but they keep mine,” she is proud.

Of course, Denise Drouin doesn't stop at Christmas cards. She has a little fun with all the holidays: birthdays, retirements, get well soon, etc. “Everything inspires me. If it creates an emotion in me, it's because it's a wow. I take photos of life's moments and if it touches me, that means others will be touched too. […] It's sad that he gives himself less and less sympathy cards. It’s because people don’t know my cards, I think,” she joked.

A bee

It all started in July 2003, with a photo of a bee gathering nectar from a flower. “You could see the flapping of its wings. I remember being fascinated and impressed by my photo and saying to myself, “I have to share this, it’s so beautiful…”,” she said.

This is how she jumped almost instantly into her adventure, which is to allow everyone to express their best wishes. “In their wishes, there is a little bit of me! »
