From November 19 to December 10, Amnesty International is launching its campaign entitled “We fight together, we win together”. To talk about it, Ludovic Laus, spokesperson for the NGO, was the guest at 12:30 p.m.
While this period is particularly marked by numerous deadly conflicts, it is more important than ever to mobilize for respect for international law, according to Amnesty. Thus, the NGO launches its annual sale of candles, which helps finance actions and guarantees independence. “The funds are used for our campaigns, which focus on supporting the fight against the climate crisis, defending individuals in danger, or denouncing violations of international law”explains Ludovid Laus.
These goodies can be found through several channels: the website, stands in public spaces or even a network of volunteers who sell them. The specificity this year is the letters marathon, which consists of collecting as many signatures and petitions as possible during the year, where the focus will be.
This campaign ends on December 10, on the occasion of Human Rights Day.
