Starfield is still updating itself to celebrate its passage to a symbolic threshold with a nice quantity of new expected and free features as a bonus.

It's a slightly late November update that's coming to Starfield but which arrives, according to Bethesda, at the right time. Its latest title would indeed have reached 15 million players, all platforms combined between PC, Xbox Series and Game Pass. While Thanksgiving will take place on November 28 in the United States, its space RPG is therefore welcoming a new patch accompanied by some very nice, expected and free new features.

Starfield gives thanks to its 15 million players in space

After finally deploying last August a first land vehicle extremely requested by players in Starfield, Bethesda is back at it again to mark the milestone of 15 million players. Enter the Deimog, a vehicle “designed for speed and endurance”, a priori endowed with great maneuverability. On the weapon side, we will appreciate the presence of a rocket launcher. This can now be downloaded for free from the Creations menu. In this menu, players will also find a new quest, also obtainable for free, related to Thanksgiving, called “The Perfect Recipe”. It will be a question of meeting Harbhajan, a professional mechanic and amateur cook, in Akila City.

Bethesda also takes the opportunity to announce that Starfield Creations deployed via the Verified Creators program are now compatible with achievements. Since the introduction of Creations in June, they have been blocking achievements. A form of salt on the wound, the functionality having as a reminder caused a lively controversy due to rather aggressive monetization.

A substantial update to go with it

In addition to the new features relating to Starfield's Creations mode, the title also welcomes a proper update, version 1.14.74. This mainly improves the performance and stability of the game, including the reintroduction of the unlimited refresh rate option on Xbox Series Shattered Space.
