Kendji Girac: after the accident, he apologizes

In a video published on the networks, he addresses his audience, moved.

After a serious accident that occurred last April, Kendji Girac narrowly escaped death. While the case was brought to court, it was ultimately dismissed. The singer finally puts an end to this story by doing one last thing: apologizing. In a video posted on his social networks, he addresses his audience and takes the floor to apologize.

“Hello everyone, I am so stressed and happy at the same time to address you all. Since my message of May 10, I have not given you any news, because I had to take care of myself and think about what happened to understand how I got here and above all make the right decisions for the future. I also wanted to let justice do its job.”

But that’s not all, he obviously thought about his actions and expressed mea culpa about what happened that night. He thus expresses his regrets for his action which could have been fatal to him.

“I regret everything that happened. Before my accident and for some time I had developed bad habits (…) I got lost, all that is not part of me. I want to apologize to you as you know, I almost lost my life, the love of my family, my audience, my friends and my daughter almost lost her father I don’t know what. It happened. I want to go back to being the boy I was, that I am deep down. The most important thing is to learn from your mistakes, you can always get back up, the most important thing is to get help. don’t do it again.”

Finally, he apologizes again to those he hurt and also explains how the unwavering support of his audience helped him get through this sad time.

I want to apologize to those I hurt, to whom I have hurt. My goal is to make people happy with a little song, a smile or a share. Since I was little, I’ve been like that, except that here, I did the complete opposite and I could have not been here to tell you. God gave me this second chance, and if he gave it to me, it’s not for nothing (…) The most important thing is that, now, all that is behind me. Today, I am immensely lucky, it is that I have your support. It is important to me to thank you and for being kind enough not to judge me when I hurt you.”

The emotion is palpable when Kendji expresses himself. It is therefore difficult to question one’s word, especially since it is never easy to publicly express one’s self-criticism…
