Thus, the price of diesel increased by 0.6 euro cents over the past week, according to data from the Ministry of Ecological Transition. Enough to place it at 1.6251 €/L on average in the country, between November 8 and 15. Above all, this means that the price of this fuel is increasing for the third week in a row.
The increase is, of course, more contained than last week (at almost +2 cents) but it is real. Diesel has not reached such a price since last August, at the end of the month. He also came close to it at the beginning of October. The fact remains that after this peak, it then went back down. We can bet that it will be the same in the weeks to come.
Fuel stabilizes
On the gasoline side, however, the situation is different. The SP95-E10 appears down, very slightly, by 0.2 euro cents. It is therefore at 1.7054 €/L. A stable price for three weeks, barely increasing or decreasing, which remains rare.
The slight downward trend is also found for SP95, going from €1.7509/L to €1.7495/L over the week. This decrease is even less marked for SP98. The latter increased from €1.8095/L to €1.8093/L over the last seven days.
Fuel prices between November 8 and 15
(November 8 price / November 15 price)
- Diesel – 1.6193 / 1.6251 €/L
- SP95-E10 – 1.7072 / 1.7054 €/L

Remember that the price of a barrel of Brent, the benchmark for oil, was this time down over the same period. This by $2.6, to settle at $73. A development which will undoubtedly have an impact on prices at the pump and which could cause them to decrease.
