PlayStation not only produces big-budget AAA games, but also has a mobile business (in case you forgot). It is in this sector that the management changes have taken place.
Here’s what we know
Olivier Courtemarche is the new head of PlayStation’s mobile division. Previously, he held leadership roles at Meta and Zynga. Since June 2023, he shared management responsibilities with Chris Davis, but is now head of PlayStation mobile.
PlayStation Studios has also named Justin Kubiak as head of mobile business development and partnerships. He previously worked at Samsung, NCsoft, Scopely, Disney and EA.
PlayStation recently closed mobile studio Neon Koi, which employed 38 people, but wants to transfer them to other divisions of PlayStation Studios where possible.
