A dead man. This is the outcome of a dramatic accident that occurred this Monday, November 18, shortly before 1 p.m., on the D504, in Perreux.
In circumstances to be specified, a motorist traveling in the direction of Perreux lost control of his vehicle on the straight. The car crossed the road before rolling into the grass and then mounting a guardrail, causing it to become airborne.
The engine projected 20 meters
The car then clipped two trees before wrapping around a third. The impact was very violent with the engine thrown about twenty meters below the road.
The firefighters and a SMUR team from Roanne hospital went to the scene but unfortunately they were unable to do anything for the forty-year-old who died inside his vehicle.

Alternating traffic has been put in place by the police on this busy departmental road at this time of day.
According to information collected on site, the motorist, residing in Cours-la-Ville (Rhône), was traveling at very high speed. The exit from the road took place near an educational radar installed on this departmental road, where speeding is frequent.
This is the third fatal accident in Roannais since the beginning of November, after those which cost the lives of two motorcyclists which occurred on November 4, in Régny, and November 10, in Saint-Priest-la-Prugne.
Since the start of the year, thirty-three people have lost their lives on the roads of the Loire.
