Heavily affected by the floods of October 17, the Carrefour store in the Givors shopping center reopens its doors on Friday November 22.
One month after the floods that occurred on October 17 in the Rhône and particularly in Givors, near Lyon, the shops in the Givors 2 Vallées shopping area are gradually reopening their doors. After Medor and company or Intersport, it is the turn of the Carrefour store to reopen. This reopening will take place this Friday, November 22.
As a reminder, the water had submerged the shopping center. The Carrefour store was very badly affected. Nearly 50 people were also stranded during the flood. On October 25, several employees unionized with the CGT had also questioned the Prime Minister, Michel Barnier, who had come to the site. “I came to thank all those who faced it, including you”, replied the head of government.
