It’s almost sales time on Steam. The Valve platform is preparing to open the doors of promotion and discounts wide, just to stock up on titles just before the holidays. But you still need to have the support to take advantage of it. PC gamers might want to get their hands on a Steam Deck before they head out all summer and now is the perfect time to do so.
Valve announces an exceptional promotion on some of its Steam Deck models. But be careful, these two consoles will be sold while stocks last. And for good reason, these are the old versions of the Steam Deck that the company wants to eliminate in order to highlight the new models with OLED screens. The machines on promotion are therefore Steam Deck LCD 64 Go ainsi que le Steam Deck LCD 512 Go.
Order before summer
First displayed at prices of €369 and €469, these two models are now at the respective prices of 313,65€ et 398,65€. This represents a 15% saving compared to the initial price, and this is the only opportunity for players to get their hands on a new console at a reduced cost. Moreover, the OLED models and the 256 GB LCD model are still displayed at the usual price, i.e. €419 for the latter, €569 for the 512 GB OLED Steam Deck and €679 for the 1 TB OLED model.
These prices are valid until July 11 at 7 p.m. and are limited to available stocks. As the LCD models are no longer produced, you will have to hurry if you want to position yourself. Don’t forget that you also have the possibility of purchasing consoles reconditioned by the manufacturer, with around 20% reduction compared to new versions.
Unlike the launch period, the Steam Deck will not take more than a few days to be sent by Valve. Delivery times have been greatly accelerated, so it is still possible to receive your copy before you go on vacation. Valve plans a firing window of between 3 to 5 working days maximum. This is in any case good news for all nomads who can afford a portable console, with the power of a PC, for less than a new Nintendo Switch OLED.
Sales for games are planned for June 27. This will once again be an opportunity to indulge in hundreds of independent and AAA games at a reduced price. We think in particular of Palworldwhich continues to improve with its updates, or even Disney Dreamlight Valleyet Supermarket Simulator.
