New incident involving a Boeing 737 Max. On Saturday, a Korean Air plane, which was initially scheduled to fly from Seoul to Taichung in Taiwan, had to turn around after falling 26,900 feet, or more than 8,200 meters, in 15 minutes. Upon returning to Seoul, as many as 17 passengers were hospitalized.

It was the pilots of the Korean airline who made the decision to suddenly bring down the plane because of a failure in the pressurization system reported after a little less than an hour of flight.

Hyperventilation, ear pain…

“17 passengers were treated by medical professionals in Korea and released without serious injuries,” said the South Korean transport minister. Some suffered from hyperventilation due to stress, others from ear pain following the sudden change in pressure.

Children in tears, feeling of floating… Several passengers, who spoke to the South Korean press, described scenes of panic in the plane at the time of the fall.
