Russia launched a massive attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure this Sunday. Several regions are affected by power outages.

This Sunday, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack against Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Power outages were announced in the Kyiv, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Poland, for its part, announced that it had taken off fighter planes to protect its territory bordering Ukraine.

This large-scale attack comes the day after the visit to Kyiv by the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs. The latter expressed concern about the engagement of North Korean troops in the Russian region of Kursk, believing that the alliance between Moscow and Pyongyang threatens the security of East Asia.

In an interview with Ukrainian radio broadcast on Saturday, Volodymyr Zelensky set the goal of ending the war in 2025 by diplomatic means.

The Ukrainian president admits that Russian forces continue to advance in the east of the country and speaks of a difficult situation.
