In Bazas (Gironde), the 2024 Saint-Jean celebrations were held all their promises.
Highlight: the evening of Sunday June 23, on the cathedral square.

An incredible crowd at Bazas

Beginning at nightfall, the Troubadours du Troisième Millénaire show, Parade of the Prince of the Moon, closing banquet has attracted a huge crowd. An audience, made up of young and old, who fully appreciated the feats performed by the troop of volunteers, assisted by the folkloric group Lous de Bazats as well as the Ripataoulère de Gans.

They jumped the fires of Saint-Jean

What followed was the burning of the cathedral followed by unmissable lights of Saint-Jean.

Readjusted for safety reasons, they saw many jumpers try their luck, warmly applauded by admiring southern Girondins.

Special mention to this young man, author of an incredible somersault forward at the second traffic light! Under the cheers of the public, that goes without saying.
