Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denounced a “terrorist attack” perpetrated by Russia against kyiv this Sunday, November 17. About 120 missiles and 90 drones were sent by the Russians, he said. “The enemy targeted our energy infrastructure throughout Ukraine. Unfortunately, the facilities were damaged by impacts and falling debris,” the president said.

According to kyiv, “a massive attack” is still ongoing against the Ukrainian electricity system. During the attack, two dead and six injured “including two children” were deplored in Mykolaiv, a port city located in the south of the country. “A multi-story building, cars, a shopping center and infrastructure were hit. Several fires broke out. The attack killed two women and injured six people, including two children”. Two other wounded – a 59-year-old man and an 18-year-old boy – were noted in the Zaporizhia region after the Russian strikes last night, according to the Kyiv Independent.

At the same time, the Ukrainian railway company Ukrzaliznytsia announced the death of two railway workers in a short message shared on the X network. “We are all grateful to all the railway workers for their bravery and constant work”they wrote.
