In an interview with Télé Star, Patrick Nebout made some revelations about his new role in Plus belle la vie!

A new role for Patrick Nebout in Plus belle la vie
To everyone’s greatest surprise, France 3 announced the end of Plus belle la vie on its channel. A real shock for the series teams who learned of these rumors at the same time as the viewers.
For their part, the latter did not hesitate to mobilize to save the series. It must be said that many people followed the adventures of the characters since their beginning.
And to the delight of everyone, TF1 has decided to save Plus belle la vie. The episodes are now broadcast on the first channel after the 1 p.m. news. But that’s not all.
For those who cannot make the meeting time, TFX also broadcasts the latest episodes in the evening. At the moment, it is Patrick Nebout who is facing a whole new intrigue.
The latter agreed to become the new boss of the Mistral police stationOne thing is certain, this is not going to be easy for the main person concerned. In any case, this is what his interpreter, Jérôme Bertin, revealed.
In an interview with Télé Star, the actor confided in this new promotion which concerns his character. He notably revealed whether the latter was stressed by this new role within the police station.
A “cursed” role
“We must not forget his journey. Patrick is a child who comes from the DDASS. Becoming a commissioner is a consecration for him”said the Plus belle la vie actor.
Before also adding: “But he also has some legitimacy problems which will lead to some very funny situations. He will question himself a lot and wonder if he is capable of leading those who are his friends« .
On the other hand, his future could be compromised in the series. And for good reason, the position of commissioner is “cursed”. “The lifespan of a commissioner is, in general, quite short in Plus belle la vie”recalled Jérôme Bertin to Télé Star.
He nevertheless assured: “But I’m very confident. Patrick is a Mistralian. He has relationships with many characters of the series. Its history cannot be erased”.
“I think it was a desire of the production to finally have a commissioner who has a life other than the one he lives at the police station”also specified the interpreter of Patrick Nebout in the TF1 series.
Finally, the actor wanted to reassure our colleagues: “Patrick doesn’t really say goodbye to the field! It’s certain that he’s going to do a lot less than what he’s been doing until now.”
“Because, by officially becoming a commissioner, he will take control of the police station and have to manage a great team« he concluded.
