Large deployment of rescue forces this Saturday, November 16 around Lake Merlet, located in the town of Massoulès in Lot-et-Garonne. Firefighters were called in around 7:40 a.m., after a car was reported to have fallen into the waters of this hillside reservoir.
Emergency services gathered on Chemin Labarthe. A specialized nautical team was dispatched to the site to inspect the cabin of the submerged vehicle. Emergency services unfortunately found an 18-year-old man there. He was brought to the surface and brought back to shore.
