As Algeria and Morocco fight, the ACA makes a decision

Algeria – After the meeting of the Association of African Clubs (ACA) held yesterday in Morocco, no final decision was taken by the leaders.

The three countries competing to host the ACA headquarters are:
– Morocco
– Algeria
– South Africa

To determine which country will host this headquarters, ACA leaders will visit each of these countries before making a decision.

Objectives of the visits
These visits will aim to assess the infrastructure and resources that each country is able to offer. The criteria will include:
– The quality of the office spaces offered,
– Available resources,
– Qualified workforce,
– The potential for economic and football development,
– The opportunities offered to clubs,
– Freedom of operation for the organization.

The schedule of visits includes a visit to Morocco first, followed by Algeria, and finally South Africa.

A meeting chaired by Hersi Said
Yesterday’s meeting was led by ACA President, Engineer Hersi Said. He underlined the crucial importance of this association for African clubs. If the ACA is properly implemented and operates effectively, it should promote the interests of all clubs on the continent.

A promising initiative
The ACA represents an ambitious project intended to unite and strengthen African clubs. With good governance, it could:
– Facilitate exchanges and cooperation between clubs,
– Improve the conditions of local and continental competitions,
– Stimulate the development of football at all levels.

Hosting the ACA headquarters is therefore a strategic opportunity for candidate countries. This could consolidate their influence in African football and promote local development, both at a sporting and economic level.

The next few weeks promise to be decisive, with visits that will allow leaders to make an informed decision. The selected country will play a key role in implementing this ambitious vision for African football.
