Nikos Aliagas obviously didn’t expect to see his mother arrive live on set this Friday, November 15.
“Why don’t you wear a tie anymore?”, she teased him during a very funny sequence to (re)watch on TF1+.

This is called the watered sprinkler. Aware of all the surprises planned for the students of the “Star Academy” during a special broadcast this Friday, November 15, Nikos Aliagas did not see the one that concerned him coming. After welcoming Louane, Mentissa and the candidates for Miss France 2025, the presenter of the TF1 show received a special guest that he would never have imagined seeing on his set. “I don’t know what this call means”he asks himself as a phone rings.

“Hello big guy, it’s me!”says a woman who appears on the screen in the background. “It’s my mother… But what are you doing here, Mom?”he replies. “I tried to get on the phone with you and you didn’t answer me. So I called production, I absolutely have to talk to you (…). I wanted to tell you something very important”she insists before appearing in the arms of two young men who help her go down the stairs. “Why don’t you wear a tie in the middle of a show anymore?”she annoys gently. “You can’t present a prime time show on TF1 without a tie!”she insists.

In her hand, two ties that the septuagenarian intended to put around her son’s neck. “Your father is not happy to see you where he is.”she said to him, touching his open collar. “My father has been dead for seven years, just. We’re not laughing, right! It’s true that he loved me with ties”he reacts, having the spotlight stolen by his 77-year-old mother whom he presents to the class of 2024 and the singer Corneille.
“No, I don’t know him, delighted Corneille!”she said. “She shames me!”laughs Nikos Aliagas who makes her sit among the students. “Thank you very much for the surprise. We’ll talk to each other, friends of the management team”he says to the camera with a little wink. This is a TV moment he won’t soon forget. And neither do we!
