“It is certain that the war will end sooner with the policies of the team that will now run the White House. This is their approach, their promise to their society,” Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with Ukrainian media Suspilne. “The war will end, but we do not know the exact date“, he qualified.
The Ukrainian president said he had a “constructive interaction” with Donald Trump during their telephone conversation after his victory in the American presidential election. “I haven’t heard anything that goes against our position.”he explained.
Donald Trumpvery critical of the tens of billions of dollars released for Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022, promised to resolve this conflict “in 24 hours”, without ever explaining how.
