Five days later the death of a man burned in Pauthe investigation continues actively. The events took place in the evening of November 10 to 11, in the Ousse-des-Bois district. A murder investigation is being carried out by the Pau judicial police. This week, the autopsy was carried out and provided the first elements on the circumstances of this settling of scores which turned into a tragedy. It appears to be a murder against a backdrop of drug trafficking.
No wounds caused by firearms or knives
According to our information, Samir, the victim from Landes, had been working with traffickers for some time. He was transporting cocaine and cannabis resin. Was there a problem, that day or in previous days, with the drugs delivered or with a sum of money? No response yet. The Pau prosecutor, Rodolphe Jarry, explained that the car which burned had been parked for around twenty minutes. Then everything went up in flames. A video circulated on social media the day after the tragedy but has since been deleted.
The prosecutor specified that the autopsy showed that a product had been used to accelerate the fire, such as fuel for example. Furthermore, according to our sources, the autopsy revealed that the victim did not present any injuries. That is to say, there is no wound caused by a firearm or a bladed weapon. The investigation continues with the fadettes and interviews with Samir’s entourage. It’s much more complicated in the Ousse-des-Bois district where there is a state of silence, “a screed of lead“, concluded the Pau prosecutor’s office.
