Official presentation of the Jean-Marc-Vallée Audience Award – FCVQ 2024 for the film À HAUTTEUR D’ENFANT by Mélanie Carrier and Olivier Higgins

New screenings announced

This week, filmmakers Melanie Carrier et Olivier Higgins received the prestigious statuette Jean-Marc-Vallée Prizeshaped by the artist Marc Séguin, for their film At child height warmly greeted by the public during the recent edition of the Quebec City Cinema Festival (FCVQ). This official award ceremony took place at the École Chabot, where the film was shot, in the presence of Hugo Latulippe, general director of the FCVQ.

Following this recognition, MO FILMS is pleased to announce that the film will be presented at International Festival of Francophone Cinema in Acadia (FICFA) in the Best Medium or Feature Documentary Film competition, and that it will be the subject of new screenings this fall at Montréal (Public Cinema) and Gatineau (Island Theater). The film will continue its tour in other regions in the winter and spring of 2025 when several film meetings will be organized.
