The NoYau generator of social impact received the Norbert-Rodrigue prize in the Collective category at the fall conference of the Quebec Social Development Network.
This distinction highlights NoYau’s role as an intersectoral consultation in social development and highlights the impact of its collective actions to build an inclusive and supportive community in the Nicolet-Yamaska territory.
The NoYau thanks the Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation for its financial support, Charles Guillemette of the MCG Consulting Group, advisor since the creation of the NoYau, as well as the sixty committed partners.
Since its creation in 2017, NoYau has brought together more than 60 partners from the social, health, economic, cultural and other sectors. This collective aims to mobilize the strengths of its community around issues relating to belonging to the territory, food security, active aging and educational success.
The diversity of partners who interact and pursue continuous strategic reflection has allowed the emergence of initiatives such as the optimization of the public transportation network, a concrete response to the needs of people in vulnerable situations in the region.
The prize awarded by the Quebec Social Development Network makes NoYau an example for other regions of Quebec.
