A 26-year-old man was convicted on Wednesday November 13 by the court (Côte-d'Or) for drunkenness on public roads and damage, reports “Le Bien Public”. A few days earlier, he had gone to his ex-partner's house and damaged the neighbor's gate.

Had he come to bother his ex or her neighbor? A 26-year-old young man appeared on Wednesday November 13 before the Dijon court (Côte-d'Or) for drunkenness on public roads and damage. He had been arrested a few days earlier in front of his ex-partner's house in Arnay-le-Duc, reports The Public Good.

Arrested by the police

On the evening of the incident, the defendant spent the evening with friends and drank a lot of alcohol. He then went to his ex-partner's house around 6 a.m. and kicked in the neighbor's gate, with whom he had already been in conflict in the past. The latter filmed the scene.

The man was arrested by the gendarmes, who described him as “unstable and virulent”. In the van, he made threats against the neighbor. He was sentenced to 3 months in prison and banned from reappearing in the village. He will have to pay €50 in material damage and €300 in moral damage to the neighbor.
