Prizes for artisanal excellence were awarded this Thursday evening in Bourbriac, at the Salle des Forges, by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Côtes-d'Armor (CMA22). “This is an evening to promote craftsmanship, learning and business transfer,” explains Ludovic Lorre, president of the CMA22.
Companies over 30 years old, masters and apprentices were invited to this evening. “We are going to award four trophies this evening, in these three areas, with the jury’s favorites,” he announced. And in particular a special trophy to Bruno Lancien, a young apprentice who took over the Audigou butcher's shop in Lannion, passed down from generation to generation for 400 years! » The person concerned therefore received a trophy from the hands of a master glassmaker, Adrian Colin, himself the best worker in France.
Further develop learning
“The department has 15,000 artisans. We want to reach out to them to make ourselves known and offer our services, particularly in the areas of training, continued Ludovic Lorre. Especially since with the digital transition, there is a real challenge. We have two learning centers in Côtes-d'Armor, in Ploufragan and Aucaleuc. This represents 2,500 apprentices and some become business leaders. And there are still too few companies that hire young people. However, one in two artisans left the apprenticeship. »
This evening concerned professionals from the west of the department, with Guingamp Paimpol Agglomération and Lannion-Trégor Community. “Soon, we will go to Loudéac and the Kreiz-Breizh community. »
