Supported by the day reception and the “Service in ordinary environment” service, 13 adolescents from the IME des Vallées, in Dinan, met once or twice a week to design and implement a mini-business project , called the “Young Breton Recyclers”. It intends to offer portable and dismountable table footballs made entirely from recycled materials to order. The Leroy-Merlin store in Pleurtuit, Emmaüs Dinan and the professionals from the Les Vallées association helped collect the different parts necessary for the construction of the table footballs. To carry out their project, the Vale de Rance college in Plouër-sur-Rance and the Leroy Merlin store made rooms and workshops available. This mini-business has a significant impact for these young people. It allowed them to learn to work in a team and also to evolve in an inclusive context conducive to their development.

To finalize this almost school-year project, these teenagers participated in the mini-business festival in Cesson-Sévigné, near Rennes, on May 16. Two thousand middle and high school students from the region presented their project in front of 150 jurors. The Young Breton Recyclers were thus distinguished with two certifications, one in gold for the ingenuity of their manufacturing and the other in silver for their civic commitment
