The toy market of the parents' association (APE) of the Les Marronniers school in Parcé-sur- is an institution. A meeting that has existed since 2003 and which has lasted over time. An event whose success cannot be denied.

Proof of this is in 2023, all of the 65 tables proposed to display toys, books or even second-hand clothing for children (up to 16 years old) and childcare equipment had found buyers even before the day of the sale. This is again the case for this 2024 edition. “We have been fully booked for two weeks, welcomes Adélaïde Renou, member of the APE. I still receive reservation requests but I am forced to refuse. I don't know what we really owe this success to. Perhaps because we are well positioned in the calendar before the Christmas holidays. »

For the parents' association, this event helps finance various educational projects. “In 2022, thanks to the profits, we participated in the organization of a sea class for kindergarten students and in the purchase of armchairs for the newsstand installed under the courtyard. There, we were able to finance the travel of around twenty CM2 students to the Paralympic Games in in September 2024. They went to Roland-Garros to see tennis events. They were delighted,” assures Adélaïde Renou

The parents' association also provides a refreshment bar and a catering service.
