Quebec is launching a call for applications for the 2025 Youth Recognition awards. Created in 2018, these awards aim to recognize the exceptional achievements of young people in Quebec and the significant contribution of youth workers.

The Youth Recognition Awards reward young people aged 15 to 35 as well as youth workers aged 18 and over. The application period continues until December 4. For this 7th edition, a total of $16,000 will be awarded in scholarships to the winners. The ceremony will take place in Quebec in May 2025.
“The Youth Recognition awards celebrate the audacity, creativity and perseverance of young Quebecers who contribute to making our society shine, as well as the involvement of the people who support them,” underlines Mathieu Lacombe, Minister of Culture and Communications, Minister responsible for Youth.
Categories
Applications will be evaluated by a committee of experts for each of the following categories:
–Youth Prize for 15 to 35 year olds: Creativity, Success and influence, Perseverance, Indigenous youth, Favorite.
–Youth Speaker Award for those aged 18 and over: Creativity, Success and influence, Involvement, Emmett-Johns, Indigenous youth worker.
