“Everyone go collect your voting cards and on November 16 go and vote 'Yes'. No abstention » recommended, unequivocally, Jeanne Mbagou, during the rallies organized on Tuesday, at full speed, in several neighborhoods of Igoumié (sectors 1 and 2), Akourenam 2 (plain zone).
Coordination of the referendum campaign in the camp ‘’Oui’’ in Owéndo recalled the importance of the draft constitution submitted to referendum, assimilating it to a real birth certificate for the new Gabon and the referendum this Saturday, as a fundamental and founding act for the nation. “This Saturday, November 16, in the ballot box, it’s “Yes”!”insisted Jeanne Mbagou, insisting on the fact that it is a republican, inclusive and equitable project.
For Guy Francis Bignoumba, Campaign Director, the drafting of this constitution, made by Gabonese and for Gabonese, is an opportunity to return to constitutional and civil order by voting « Oui ». “I think that Gabon understood that the constitution which was in force until August 30, 2023 was not unanimous. Today, the dignity and living together of the Gabonese people are rediscovered on the basis of this new constitution,” he argued.
A closing meeting of the campaign is planned in Owéndo before the referendum, to further galvanize voters and ensure the triumph of the ‘’Oui’’without firing a shot, on the big day.
