Othman Nasrou, Secretary of State for Citizenship and the Fight against Discrimination, yesterday launched the 7th edition of the Ilan Halimi Prize.
Created in 2018 by DILCRAH, the Ilan Halimi prize highlights the commitment of young people against racist and anti-Semitic stereotypes and prejudices. Through education, through culture, through openness to others, we fight for a more fraternal society.

We are helping to bring about the zero-hate generation of tomorrow.

This prize makes it possible to mobilize and reward groups of young people under the age of 25, in a school setting or not, who take action contributing to reducing racist and anti-Semitic prejudices. This action can for example fall within the cultural, sporting, digital fields or interventions with the public (podcast, exhibition, etc.). This year, a student prize is being created.
The actions presented must have been carried out during the year 2023 or 2024.

Applications must be submitted before December 31, 2024.

The winners will be invited to in February 2025 to present their action during a ceremony at the Hôtel de Matignon.
