The Garmin Fenix 7X Solar at €498
Garmin’s Fenix 7 range offers three case sizes (42 mm for the Fenix 7S, 47 mm for the Fenix 7 and 51 mm for the Fenix 7X), a redesigned bezel, the reinforced main button surround, a new touch interface, and the possibility of opting for a solar glass (already available on the previous generation).
Up to 5 weeks of battery life!
In addition to monitoring numerous activities, Garmin thinks about the safety of athletes and offers an LED flashlight (an idea that could be used on the Apple Watch) with a running mode to adapt to the runner’s pace, alternating, with each arm movement, between the white color and the red color, to see, be seen and move around with complete peace of mind.
.
The firm mentions an autonomy of up to 5 weeks on the Fenix 7X solar in connected watch mode, and up to 135 hours in GPS mode. Note that the manufacturer is launching a new generation, but the price is very much higher (from €999) and that the new features are not necessarily sufficient to justify such a price difference.
