This Tuesday, November 12, in “C à vous”, presented by Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine, a technical incident disrupted the performance of Milo Thoretton and his group Asphalt. A revelation on the pop rock scene, the group came to present their song “Lame de fond” for the first time live on television. Son of Chiara Mastroianni, the singer saw his performance stopped dead by an unexpected technical problem.
“This is the first time this has happened!”
Everything started well though. Like every evening, the host had successfully conducted her interviews, this time with the actors Romain Duris and Vincent Fichot for their film “A Missing Part”. But at the time of Asphalt’s musical live, the first notes of the musicians sounded, but no sound came out of the singer’s microphone. A technical problem which plunged the host into embarrassment and incomprehension. “This is the first time this has happened! Test your microphone, go ‘one, two three’. In management? No, there’s nothing at all, it’s complicated…“, she worried, trying to reassure the artist while remaining calm despite the circumstances.
After a few seconds of silence, Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine had to improvise as a technician, trying to bring a backup microphone to Milo Thoretton. “It’s not possible… Is there a cut?! Did something blow up?“, she said, in a moment of hesitation on the set. “There’s a fuse that’s blown.”indicates a voice around the table. No sooner said than done, the management quickly resolved the bug, finally allowing the artist to regain control of the stage. “There is madness here”launched the host, relieved.

Despite this technical mishap, Milo Thoretton’s performance caused a sensation. Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine then apologized, before playing down the situation by exclaiming: “It was rock!“. Broadcast live from Monday to Friday, “C à vous” is far from being free of technical problems of all kinds, offering funny moments to viewers, and a lot of trouble for the presenter and her journalists around the table.
On March 25, Pomme took part in the question and answer game, before sitting in front of the microphone accompanied by her favorite instrument: her autoharp. The singer then had to perform a track from her new album, “Seasons – integral edition”. But as soon as the first notes were played, his voice came out choppy from his microphone. After a minute, Pomme was able to resume her song. “Unbelievable, it was a smashing entry“, she joked.
