After two busy first days in New Caledonia, the President of the Senate and the President of the National Assembly resume their discussions with the Caledonians this Wednesday, November 13.
- They will start at 7:30 a.m. to meet the economic world and to observe the damage from the riots, in Kenu In, in Dumbéa. They will then go to the penitentiary center before two sessions with the “Word, memories, truth and reconciliation” committee and the mayors of New Caledonia. At the end of the afternoon, new working session at the Congress.
- Yesterday, the parliamentarians each delivered a fifteen to twenty minute speech to Congress. The different political groups were able to discuss with the two presidents, in particular on the institutional future. The two chamber presidents then went to Mont-Dore Sud, where they spoke with residents, elected officials and internal security forces. At the start of the evening, Gérard Larcher and Yaël-Braun Pivet joined the hall of honor at Nouméa town hall, to interact with around a hundred Caledonians invited for the occasion.
- Gérard Larcher and Yaël Braun Pivet will be the guests this Wednesday evening on a special edition of the television news, from 7 p.m. The interview will take place live from the Congress. The parliamentarians will answer questions from Natacha Lassauce-Cognard. At his side, during these 30 minutes of interview, our colleagues from RRB and Caledonia.
