The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, through Mossad and the National Security Bureau, today issued a warning regarding potential threats to Israelis and Jews in Thailand.
According to the statement, Israeli security services, in collaboration with their Thai counterparts, have been monitoring a series of worrying events in the country for several months. Faced with these growing threats, the authorities are calling for increased vigilance, while maintaining the travel alert level unchanged for the moment.
Main recommendations:
Avoid large gatherings related to Israel, especially those announced in advance
Report any hostile activity to local security forces
Limit the display of Israeli or Jewish symbols
Do not share your travels on social networks
Officials point out that since the start of the October 7 war, efforts by Iran and its allies to target Israeli and Jewish targets have intensified on a global scale. These guidelines apply to the entire territory of Thailand, without regional distinction. Mossad and the Israeli security services continue to work closely with their international partners to ensure the protection of Israeli nationals and the Jewish community abroad.
