A boutique of the luxury brand Louis Vuitton was robbed during the night from Sunday to Monday.
An investigation was opened Monday in Paris for organized theft of a Louis-Vuitton store, located in the 6th arrondissement, after the attack on its storefront with a ram car, AFP learned from a police source, confirmed by the Paris prosecutor's office.
No suspect has been arrested at this stage, added the public prosecutor.
Around 4:30 Monday morning, “individuals entered the business using a vehicle to break the window and took away goods“, indicated the police source, specifying that the “harm remains to be determined“.
A witness to the theft filmed the scene and posted it on social media.
“Leather goods were stolen“, specified the prosecution, without estimating at this stage the amount of the loot.
The investigations were entrusted to the Banditry Repression Brigade (BRB).
This Louis-Vuitton store (LVMH group) had already been robbed on September 30, again using a vehicle.
