At the end of the meeting, on the CCS side, while the happiness continued for a handful of orange and blue fans, we had the pleasure of speaking with Sylvain, the historic capo of Butte Paillade, after this Sunday marked by the victory of the MHSC but also by a first part of the festivities of this 50th anniversary of the MHSC:

“I don’t know if coming to Grammont changed everything but in this match, we saw a completely different side of the team. It’s crazy… Complete! Guys fighting. A great strategy also in terms of tactics, the ball… We saw players in better health, with new lungs and that is pleasing. I think Jean-Louis Gasset has a lot to do with it.

On this day, everything came together, the appeal to the orange and blue people worked. Everything was good, everything was successful throughout this Sunday. People identified with this family of ours and we showed that, all united, we could overturn mountains. (It's cut off, a car honks, it's Laurent Nicollin). We didn't see any tourists in the aisles, only supporters, a lung, an entire stadium to push the team. Even the sides, a stadium full of Ultras (laughs), it was really beautiful to see. As we said among ourselves, it's a match that will be remembered. For me, it is historic and I hope it will be the start of our season. »
