The cloudiness will initially be variable to sometimes abundant this Monday, with showers, which will then become more localized. In the south-eastern half of the country, however, they may remain more numerous, and locally more intense and potentially stormy, predicts the Royal Meteorological Institute. The coast, on the other hand, will benefit from generally dry and sunny weather while elsewhere the sky will become partly cloudy.

The maxima will oscillate between 17 degrees in Haute Ardenne and 20 to 21 degrees in Lower and Middle Belgium. The wind will generally be moderate.

In the evening, showers are still forecast, possibly stormy, especially in the south-eastern half. In the extreme northwest, the weather will be dry. Next night, cloudy periods will alternate with sunny spells. A few showers will linger locally but the trend will be a return to dry weather. Minima will vary between 11 and 14 degrees in light winds.

Tuesday will begin with a risk of localized fog, and a sky veiled by high-altitude clouds elsewhere. Cloudiness will quickly increase with the arrival of rain and showers from the southwest. Precipitation could be relatively heavy or even stormy. The maximums will be between 17 degrees at sea and 24 degrees in Belgian Lorraine. The wind will be light then it will become light to moderate.

On Wednesday, it will be generally dry with some sunny spells and highs of 17 to 21 degrees.

Thursday will see a further increase in the risk of (intense) thundershowers. It could be up to 25 degrees.
