Quickly to the front inside, having been a little tight at the start of the final turn, Zoom however benefited from an ideal course, before taking the best alone at the start of the straight and continuing his effort, which he had to maintain until passing the post to resist Blue Brother. “He had just made a winning comeback and he confirms it today; it’s great”comments Maxime Guyon on the microphone ofEquidia. By winning this Tantième Prize, Zoom wins his first listed race and remains undefeated in two attempts at the Saint-Cloud racecourse. If his predecessor, Tribalisthad gone to race in Hong Kong after this success, Zoom should not be seen again this season.

Beaten but not defeated

Author of a good end of the race, the resident of Gianluca Bietolini, Blue Brother fails by a narrow margin against his elder, but confirms that he will have to be reckoned with at this level of competition. A little brilliant at the rear, he made a good straight line and paid a little for his premature efforts at the very end of the course. But this second place has (almost) the taste of success for those around him. “We are delighted, comments Francis Teboul. We didn't have a first chance and finishing in the top three is a very good thing. We're not afraid of anyone and when we go, we go! We have a good horse, a great trainer and a good jockey, but also a friendly owner (laughs); we had to try! And Blue Brother confirms his last two quinté victories and proves that he is a very good horse. I'm excited to keep him at 4 in training. When we see his behavior today, he should be able to win his Listed race and why not climb the ranks quietly afterwards. In addition, it is a horse from our breeding, which makes me particularly proud.”

Third, Suchetalso performed well and satisfied Victoria Head: “He behaved well. He's a little short to finish and maybe the hat puts him in his bubble a little too much, but if he doesn't wear it, he'll overdo it. He's really going to be better next season, with a little more maturity. Maybe we’ll see him again once on the PSF this season.”
