This Sunday, November 10 was supposed to be a beautiful day for the Morille family. Everyone had to come together to celebrate the third birthday of one of their great-granddaughters. Unfortunately, this festive day was spoiled by a fire which devastated their 150 m2 house.2 rue de Normandie, in Montoir-de-Bretagne.

The fire started from the first floor and it was one of the sons of the owner couple who saw it while going to get bread at 8:30 a.m.
30 to 40 m2 of the house affected by the flames
After calling the firefighters, eighteen firemen from Trignac, Saint-Nazaire and Montoir-de-Bretagne were mobilized. The fire severely damaged the roof and the smoke, making the house uninhabitable: 30 to 40 m2 of the house were thus affected by the flames.
The owner couple is very surrounded by their family and will be temporarily hosted by one of the sons. The mayor of the town was also present and offered help from the CCAS and the provision of emergency housing.
