The GICCS is mistreated and has no room for error if it wants to resolve the investigation into the Agusta center. Charline goes there for a final infiltration mission which will be the most dangerous of her life.

The GICCS investigators are swimming in troubled waters. During their last investigation, they encroached on the territory of another police force, and it was made clear to them that the GICCS, although it does good work, is a second-rate unit which should not harm others, more important in the eyes of leaders.

“The members of the GICCS have not yet landed on their feet. It was clearly mentioned that in the eyes of big bosses, sex crimes are not as important as other types of crime,” announces the author, William S. Messier. A single misstep from Dorcely, Alice, Charline or Karine, and it could be the end of the unit.

Not only are the team members under great pressure, but they are also upset at having lost their colleague Frédéric Masson, whom everyone appreciated.

One last day in Sorel

In this season finale, the investigation into Véda and the Agusta center progresses, but solid evidence is still lacking to make arrests. Charline has no choice but to return to Sorel and play the role of Luna again. The workshops and meetings she had at the center disturbed her. This time, she cannot let herself be softened or influenced by anyone.

During her previous visits to the center, Charline was sometimes alone, and her colleagues were not aware. This time, Alice and Karine accompany him; in the event of problems, they will be able to intervene. Alice, who went through this last season, knows that despite adequate preparation, a mission of this kind can go wrong. Charline has always been solid during her infiltrations, but this one is different. The Agusta center, which presents itself as a place of tranquility and rejuvenation, will take on a completely different face.

“The mission will become really very dangerous for Charline. We will fear for our lives, announces William S. Messier. The operation will take place in two stages. At the end of the first visit to Sorel, there will be arrests and close interrogations during which new elements will emerge. Since the beginning of the investigation, the target has been Veda, but is he the most dangerous individual? Could he have an accomplice?

The fire that burns

Alice sees Céline Ferron again, who still seems to have a hold on her. Once again, the woman speaks words that will haunt Alice. “Another reason why the GICCS is in danger is the program it has set up which involves former criminals. Things ended badly with Belzile last season, and we see in the finale that Céline Ferron was so weakened by her meetings with the GICCS that she committed a misdeed,” reveals the screenwriter. Céline Ferron blames Alice and, indirectly, the GICCS. This will be one more stain on their record.

Furthermore, an emotional moment awaits the police officers who attend Fred's funeral. The investigation into her death was concluded quickly, and it was concluded that it was suicide, but Alice is starting to have doubts. The feeling that she is missing out on something important will culminate during the ceremony.
