A new business opened in May 2024 rue Guillaume-le-Conquerantin Rouen (Seine-Maritime): Crêp’Mamaa café-restaurant where, as its name suggests, crepes are king.
A family story
The brand was created by a young entrepreneur from Rouen, Alexandre Dubos, 27 years old. He grew up in a family of traders, who ran cafes, hotels and restaurants.
“The passion for crepes came to me in one of his establishments, when I was younger,” he says. When my father ran the café near the station, opposite the post office, we started making it and it worked very well. And it stayed with me. »
After studying business, Alexandre worked in several companies and as a self-employed person (in invoice brokerage). There, he launched his first business with his mother, Véronique – hence the second part of the name –, business with them is truly a family affair.
Crêp’Mama is both a café and a restaurant, open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The order is made at a terminal. There are all types of hot and cold drinks, pancakes, pancakes and waffles, savory or sweet, salads, fresh fries…
Pancakes in cones
Please note that the pancakes can be served in a cone, in recyclable packaging, and can therefore be taken into the street. The eggs come from the Bruyère farm, in Alvimare in the Caux regionand flour from the Clos de la Lare farm, at La Couture-Boussey in Eure.
The establishment has around fifty seats, inside and on the terrace, as well as in a room upstairs, which can be privatized.
