On October 28, Manchester City’s Spanish midfielder Rodri was crowned 2024 Ballon d’Or, to everyone’s surprise, ahead of the big favorite, Vinicius Junior, and the Englishman, Jude Bellingham.

This Saturday, France Football finally revealed the details of the votes of different journalists from around the world. For France, it was the French journalist Vincent Garcia who was in charge of the vote. The editor-in-chief of France Football did not cite two major players in its Top 10, namely Dani Carvajal and Toni Kroos who nevertheless finished in 4th place for the Spaniard and in 9th place for the newly retired German.

Announced as the big favorite for this France Football 2024 Ballon d’Or, Vinicius Junior was finally beaten by Rodri who collected more votes than the Brazilian winger from Real Madrid. However, many journalists have placed number 7 of Casa Blanca at the top. Vincent Garcia, the editor-in-chief of France Football, made Vinicius Junior number 1 in his top 10.
