Jean-Marie Huriez (Chauvigny coach): “There is a lot of frustration. If my player doesn't touch the ball, we have to lead 2-0 and the end of the match is not at all the same. We would have folded the match whereas there, we conceded the equalizer straight away and we could have conceded a second goal at the end of the match. I still remain satisfied with the team's overall performance, particularly our defensive solidity. We were really strong against a very good team. This is our fourth consecutive draw. It's frustrating because we had the chance to open the scoring in these matches and we didn't manage to score the famous second goal. »

Wilfried Niflore (Châtellerault coach): “There is a lot of frustration. I feel like I'm repeating myself every weekend unfortunately. We had a very average first half in terms of intensity and aggressiveness. They were better than us. We weren't in the match in the first quarter of an hour and then we gained momentum. We had a few situations at the end of the first period, also at the start of the second when we had changed system. It had to be broken down. We went with two attackers who gave us depth and intensity in the forward races. In the middle, Mathis (Tait) also had a big match in terms of volume of play. Behind us, we were able to be solid when we needed to be and I think our equalizer is deserved. Over the last forty minutes, we could have turned this match around. I am still disappointed for the players who are not rewarded. And it's not the first time. »

Killyan Barritault (Chauvigny midfielder): “There is limit of anger after this match because we could have killed it, with several chances to lead 2-0. Unfortunately, this meeting is a bit similar to the previous ones. We open the score but we don't push the point home and we are not safe from losing. The team found itself split in two after the Châtelleraud equalizer. We are closer to 1-2 than 2-1 for us at the end. From the moment we can't kill the matches… We think we've done the hardest part but 1-0 is not enough. »

Mathis Tait (SO Châtellerault midfielder): “Our start was difficult. We lacked aggression in the first half. At half-time, the coach changed his system and we managed to equalize. There is obviously a little frustration because there was perhaps the opportunity to get the three points but the opponent also had opportunities. When you can't win, you have to know not to lose. »
