The Belgian rail transport company published a press release on Friday. “In accordance with the provisions of the public service contract concluded with the Belgian State, the adaptation is based on the evolution of the consumer price index, which is 2.91%,” we can read in a press release.

This means that regulated fares (Standard, Right to Increased Allowance, Senior and Youth) in second class will cost 2.91% more. Subscription prices (Standard, Flex, Half-time and Student) will increase by 3.03%.

The price of transport tickets with unregulated rates (such as the Weekend Ticket, Local Multi, Youth Multi, Standard Multi) and SNCB parking rates are also indexed (+2.91%). The SNCB part of intermodal subscriptions at unregulated rates (such as City Pass, Unlimited Subscription) follows the same evolution as the other subscriptions.

The monthly variant of “Youth Holidays”, a product aimed at young people during school holidays, will now be available at a price of 39 euros (currently 35 euros). The weekly variant is offered at a price of 19 euros (18 euros currently).
