Côte-d’Or: bottles of wine auctioned for the benefit of a disabled young man

Wine lovers will be able to buy bottles during an auction which will take place in Côte-d’Or. The profits will help finance care for a disabled young man.

An auction of wine bottles will be organized on Saturday November 9, 2024 in (Côte-d’Or). 122 lots will be sold for the benefit of the Tous avec Paul association, which helps a young man suffering from an orphan disease, reports The Public Good.

Two years ago, Paul underwent arthrodesis. Doctors straightened his spine with a steel bar of 32 bolts, we can read in a Facebook post from the association. Since this operation, the young man has suffered from pain.

From 10 euros

To relieve him, a shiatsu nurse practitioner and a psychomotor therapist were contacted to provide him with alternative care, in addition to his medical follow-up. It is to finance these treatments that bottles of wine will be sold at auction.

These bottles of wine, collected thanks to a member of the association, will be offered with prices of 10 to more than 500 euros, for the magnums. The event will begin at 2 p.m. at the Beaune auction house.
