Despite the deaths and destruction inflicted on the civilian population, “Israel” is defeated in Lebanon.
On Saturday, Israeli radio reported that the army was close to completing the first phase of its mission in Lebanon after two months and hinted it could withdraw soon, while Hezbollah fighters shelled sites strategic military forces and occupied Palestinian towns in the Galilee with 80 missile salvos.
On the one hand, the admission of defeat on the Lebanese front due to the ferocity of the resistance, both along the border and on the other side, despite the savagery of Israel's merciless bombing of the country .
And on the other hand, the existence of a growing dispute between theestablishment military and the government of Benjamin Netanyahu due to the increasing number of casualties and the economic, military and security losses suffered. The generals are pushing for the war to end quickly and political solutions to be found.
Netanyahu wants neither, because he knows that stopping the fighting in Lebanon and Gaza would mean its end.
A video dated November 2, 2024, shows an Islamic Resistance operation which targeted Israeli enemy concentrations in the areas of Tal al-Jazan and Jal al-Deir with missile fire.
Hezbollah's new military command has intensified military operations against the occupation in recent days, achieving major successes on all fronts.
This escalation comes ahead of the US presidential elections and Iranian leader Ali Khamenei's promise to provide a painful response to the attacks launched by Israel and its American ally against Iran and allied groups of the axis of resistance .
This response should come after the US elections.
A quick tally of Israeli military casualties since the ground operation in Lebanon began a month ago, based on the latest information from Hezbollah's operations room, includes the following:
- Israeli military losses exceed 100 dead and 900 wounded, many seriously.
- Around fifty tanks, personnel carriers and bulldozers were destroyed.
- Missile strikes against key targets, including Netanyahu's bedroom in Caesarea, the Golani Brigade base in Binyamin, killing or injuring 70 people, and Galiot's headquarters of Unit 8200 and agencies Mossad intelligence station near Tel Aviv.
- 170 “suicide” drones launched against targets inside Israel, most of which escaped interception by Israeli air defenses.
- Israeli invading forces failed to penetrate beyond the immediate border area or take control of nearby towns or villages, due to the firmness and preparedness of the resistance to repel attempts to 'incursion.
- Expanding the scope of missile strikes from purely military targets to economic targets, such as last Thursday's attack that killed seven “civilians”, including four Thai workers.
Hezbollah fighters managed to thwart the military plans of Israeli generals while instilling fear in public opinion. Never before have so many air warning sirens sounded daily in so many places in northern occupied Palestine, the Galilee and Tel Aviv.
Everything suggests that Hezbollah is capable of hitting any Israeli target of its choice with its drones and missiles.
The same day, a video shows another Hezbollah attack targeting with assault drones the bases of Shraga, Ramat David and Palmachim belonging to the Israeli occupation army.
Hezbollah and its political and military structures quickly overcame the crisis caused by the pager attacks and the assassination of its leaders. All vacant leadership positions have been filled, with young commanders joining the veterans.
Furthermore, they have not retreated a single millimeter from the legacy of the martyr Hassan Nasrallah, nor from the execution of his will expressed in his last speech: above all, maintaining the unity of the fronts and never abandon the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
This solemn commitment resulted in Nasrallah's assassination.
His successor Naim Qasem's loyalty and promise to execute him, as well as his refusal to disengage Lebanon from Gaza as demanded by a Lebanese fifth column, are likely what prompted Israeli War Minister Yoav Gallant to threaten to kill him too, in a tweet describing his appointment as head of Hezbollah as “temporary”.
But it is Israel and its criminal enterprise whose days are numbered.
The wars of annihilation he is waging against Gaza and Lebanon are not a sign of strength, but the last breath of delusional carelessness. What happens after Tuesday's U.S. election could be different from what happened before.
