The improvement continues for fuel prices, generally falling since the start of the year. On November 1, the Ministry of Territories, Ecology and Housing revealed the price of a liter of diesel and SP95. The first is up very slightly compared to the figures of October 25, gaining +0.03 cents to €1.6008.
For its part, gasoline increases at the same rate (+0.03 cents) to reach €1.7061 per liter. Its price has been generally stable since the end of August, where a drop of 4 cents was recorded between August 23 and 30, from €1.75 to €1.71 per liter.
Fuels remain at a very advantageous price
For diesel too, prices have been falling since the end of summer: at the end of July the liter was priced at €1.68 before losing 8 cents in August (€1.60). This drop is part of a dynamic that began since the start of the year for diesel vehicle fuel, which reached its peak in February, with an average monthly price of €1.80 per liter. Since then, the price has fallen, month after month, to reach very competitive rates for motorists.
As for gasoline, the surge in prices lasted until April, when a liter reached €1.90 on average. The following months saw a decline which stabilized and even rose slightly since the lowest rate of the year reached in September. Finally, the price of Brent, the benchmark for oil, fell slightly this week (as in the previous two), losing a little more than a dollar per barrel since the last measurement, to $73 against $74.1.
