Crossroads, the new update for Final Fantasy XIV will be available on November 12!

Update 7.1 Final Fantasy XIV Onlinetitled “Crossroads”, will be available on November 12, 2024. Announced during the 84th Letter from the Producer Live, it marks the first major content expansion since Dawntrail.

This update introduces, among other things, a collaboration with Final Fantasy XI through the “Echoes of Vana'diel” raid series. This content, called “Jeuno – The First Perambulation”, allows players to form alliances of 24 people to explore iconic aspects of Vana'diel. An even more difficult 8-player raid version will follow with patch 7.11, and a chaotic 24-player raid, “Tower of Darkness”, is also planned for patch 7.15.

Patch 7.1 also offers new epic quests, a new dungeon called “Yuweyawata Research Center”, and the “Interphos” challenge in extreme mode. Furthermore, the challenge “The Jade Glade”, already well known to adventurers, returns in a level 100 version with Byakko as the main opponent. Players will discover new quests from allied peoples, particularly to help the Pelupelu in their trading activities. Special orders, entitled “Nitowikwe”, also appear, as does a final quest unlocked after completing all the role quests in Dawntrail.

Update 7.1 also includes adjustments for solo players who will now be able to explore the “Halatali” dungeon in the company of allied NPCs. New housing options enable enriched interior customization. The arenas of Crystalline Conflict are experiencing adjustments, as is the team distribution system. The Novice Room is expanding with additional exercises to practice advanced mechanics.

Finally, some NPCs acquire doublings for Doman Mahjong, and New Game + mode extends to quests for Dawntrail. Additional details can be seen in the update trailer below.
