Halloween celebrated on “D” Day

VESAIGNES-SOUS-LAFAUCHE. Thursday October 31, the children met on the village square to celebrate Halloween. The message, which had been sent by the municipality, found a very good response, judging by the number of children present. Accompanied by their parents, the kids, all well made up, well disguised – there was even a dog who was dressed in a sort of little cape in Halloween colors, that is to say orange – wandered around from house to house to scare the occupants. The latter, “terribly frightened”, could only give in by offering them treats. At the end of the trip, Raphaël, a child from outside the town, invited all these wonderful people to come and celebrate his birthday (5 years) with his grandparents, in this case the mayor and his wife. While the children ate the birthday cake, the parents shared the treats, of which there were many, the residents showing great generosity.
